Westbourne Trust School

On September 10th 2010 Westbourne Trust School in the compound of new Kaloko, Ndola, Zambia was officially opened and a dedication ceremony was held for invited guests & local dignitaries. The children who have been part of the Lifespring Foundation project "Little Westbourne" since Sept 2006 sang the school anthem and all the orphan children who are sponsored to be part of this new venture were there to celebrate & join in the festivities. The ribbon was cut by the Minister's Representative for the Copperbelt & prayers of dedication were lead by Bishop Dickson Mwewa & Miguel Escobar.

The school has been made possible through the generosity of many donors and through the hard work, dedication and sacrifice of many volunteers. Special thanks must go to Matt Wood & Dave Kuchanny who spearheaded the design and building work aided by a team of local craftsmen & women. The donation of uniforms from Westbourne House School, UK ensured that we are able to supply all the children with suitable clothing & of course inspired the name.
